Only video winners need to provide release forms. Should you win, wou will be prompted to enter video credits. Once those credits are approved by a Tongal Admin, you will be prompted to fill out the appropriate releases for your video.

Seems to be an issue on the link to my website - the 'm' from '.com' is separated and now the link isn't working.

Most of the video projects on Tongal now use the Pitch phase. I'm just curious why a brand would prefer that over just going from the Idea Phase to the Video Phase. I realize they are getting a more developed concept etc. but it seems the Pitch Phase trend is taking the "Crowd" out of crowdsourcing.

Tongal has always been an iterative platform and the Pitch Phase is simply the next logical step in our process. From a brand perspective, the Pitch phase allows for more fully developed, "on-equity" creative to emerge, which means more potential applications and uses for the content.

From a creative standpoint, it means guaranteed payment, increased client feedback and greater exposure for the producer. We think it has, therefore, created a win-win situation for both sides of the equation.

I do see the merit in the Pitch Phase, I like the idea of having a production budget & guaranteed payment. I just hope it doesn't narrow the playing field too much as time goes by.5:17AM May 15, 2012

Did the Pitch phase deadline get pushed back? I thought the deadline was April 23rd. Now it says May 21st
Caleb Light-Wills
It did...since the product is not going to be available until June, we've pushed the pitch deadline to May 21st. That way you'll have more time to Pitch and will be able to procure the products if you are planning to create a wildcard.

how many times the deadline can be moved by 14 days? Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems hard to reach the minimum of 100 Pitches...12:56PM May 04, 2012

@Paolo Scippo
We've already crossed that threshold, hence the Pitch Submissions Phase closing. Had we not reached 100, it would have remained open for an additional 14 days.1:14PM May 04, 2012
